VINX is a leading Japanese system integrator with strengths in the retail industry, originating from the IT divisions of major retailers. Since our establishment in 1991, we have supported Japanese retailers with cutting-edge IT solutions for over 30 years.

VINX Malaysia is a local subsidiary established in 2012 to provide IT services to both Japanese and local retailers in Malaysia.

In addition to providing IT solutions and services to clients in Malaysia and across the ASEAN region, we aim to contribute to the global expansion of Japan’s advanced products and innovative IT technology by localizing and operationalizing them for the ASEAN market.

Generative AI Support & Solutions

With the growing adoption of generative AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot in business, VINX Malaysia supports their use across various scenarios—from leveraging internal knowledge or improving operational efficiency to enhancing customer-facing touchpoints like customer support and marketing. We also assist in implementing AI solutions to deliver practical, real-world use cases.

AI checkout solution “BakeryScan”

BakeryScan is AI checkout solution developed by Brain Inc. in Japan, and more than 1,200 units are in operation in 500 bakery shops. It resolves the problems of hiring and training cashiers, streamlining cashier work, and reducing queues.
VINX Malaysia is the exclusive distributor of BakeryScan for ASEAN region. We provide monitoring service of the recognition rate for all stores, and it enables continuous operation with a high recognition rate.

AI-Scan customized solution

We provide AI image analysis solutions that utilize AI-Scan technology from Brain Inc. (Japan) in the ASEAN region. We automate tasks such as product inspection and item counting that are done manually with a scanner similar to BakeryScan for not only retails but also a variety of business field.
VINX Malaysia supports business improvement by AI through POC with customers in collaboration with Brain.

Automatic order planning “MDware”

MDware is the automated system for calculating order quantities developed by VINX, and we provide it for more than 5,000 stores in 65 companies. It will improve profit by minimizing the management costs of too much stocks and opportunity losses due to out of stocks.
VINX Malaysia expands it to ASEAN region and contribute to resolve an issue of ordering.

Comprehensive IT coordination for business site (Offices, factories, etc.)

We support the procurement and setup of IT equipment/network services at your business site (offices, factories, etc.) in Malaysia. We provide Japanese-quality IT outsourcing services that can replace your IT department at a lower cost than hiring IT specialists.

Hotel Kiosk

Hotel Kiosk is the automatic self check-in/check-out system developed by ASTA (Almex System Technology Asia). It can resolve the long queue on the counter and provide better guest service.
VINX Malaysia is a dealer of ASTA and contribute the improvement of hotel operation.

BakeryScan

Bakery was developed by Brain Inc. (Japan) and VINX Malaysia has been appointed as an exclusive distributor of BakeryScan for ASEAN region. We introduce and operate Al automated checkout solutions for bakeries, solving the problems of hiring and training cashiers, streamlining cashier work, and reducing queues.

Al Scan Solution

Collaboration in product expansion in ASEAN

Japan boasts many outstanding IT products, particularly those developed by small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies.
